Is Childcare available?
There is a place for your children! Nursery is provided for birth-2 years during all of our worship services and Wednesday night activities. Other ages will find a place in our children's ministry or youth ministry events. Contact the church office for more information.

Where do I park?
Guest parking is available near each of our main entrances. These spaces are clearly marked and reserved for our guests.
Handicapped parking is available behind the main building, at the entrance nearest the ramp and elevator.

What's the music like?
Our traditional service offers a more traditional approach to hymns while our contemporary service offers a more up-beat feel. In addition to our worship choir, which leads music in our traditional service each week, we occasionally have an ensemble, soloist, or guest musician to lead us in worship. Music for our contemporary service is lead each week by our praise band and praise team. For more information about our music ministry, visit our Music Ministry page.

What should I wear?
Wear what makes you comfortable. At our worship services, you'll find some people in full "Sunday dress" and others dressed more casually. We want you to feel at home. We only ask that you don't bring in cell phones and beepers. If you must bring them, please turn them off or set them to vibrate.

Are the two Sunday morning worship services the same?
The 9:30 a.m. service is our Contemporary service. Our 11:00 a.m. worship service is our Traditional service. The sermon is the same for both services.

How do I make connections at First Baptist?
We encourage everyone to become involved in a Bible Study class on Sunday mornings. The classes are divided by age and we have classes for ladies, men, singles, and couples. Within these classes, you will connect with people in your age range and in a similar place in life.

Perhaps Sunday mornings are not the best time for you to meet. We are currently growing a Small Group ministry. If you would like to join a small group that meets on Sunday evenings or during the week, contact Steve Bice for more information.

Do you have mid-week activities?
We offer Wednesday evening activities for children, youth, and adults. Click here for our Wednesday evening schedule.

Who can I contact for help when I'm in need?
If you are in need of financial assistance or some other type of assistance, contact Jim for more information.

How can I learn more about First Baptist Church?
Feel free to peruse our website. If you have further questions, contact any of our staff by email or call the church office at (843)761-8116. Or for a first-hand experience, try us out this Sunday morning!
